SEDAR 94 Florida Hogfish

Project Description

SEDAR 94 will develop benchmark stock assessment for the two stocks of Florida Hogfish: Gulf of Mexico and East Florida/Florida Keys. The assessment was originally slated to begin in 2024 but was postponed to 2025 to allow for an Operational Assessment of US Southeastern Yellowtail Snapper (SEDAR 96). The Data Workshop was held July 28-August 1, 2025, the assessment webinars were held October 2025 – April 2026, and the Review Workshop was held July 14-17 2026. For more information, please contact the SEDAR Coordinator for this project, Julie Neer: julie.neer@safmc.net.
