Project Description
SEDAR 94 will develop benchmark stock assessment for the two stocks of Florida Hogfish: Gulf of Mexico and East Florida/Florida Keys. The assessment was originally slated to begin in 2024 but was postponed to 2025 to allow for an Operational Assessment of US Southeastern Yellowtail Snapper (SEDAR 96). The Data Workshop will be held July 28-August 1, 2025, the assessment webinars will be held October 2025 – April 2026, and the Review Workshop is slated for July 14-17 2026. For more information, please contact the SEDAR Coordinator for this project, Julie Neer: julie.neer@safmc.net.
NOTE: SEDAR Working papers document the methods, datasets, and preliminary analyses that are under consideration at the various workshops and therefore do not necessarily represent final consensus opinions of workshop participants. Working paper findings and methods may change following workshop review. Working papers should not be cited without author permission.
