SEDAR 80 Caribbean Queen Triggerfish

Project Description

SEDAR 80 will be an Operational Assessment and addresses the stocks of Caribbean Queen Triggerfish.  Three Topical Working Groups (TWG) will be convened to discuss 1) Life History, 2) Indices of Abundance, and 3) Effects of Fishery Regulations and the Economy on catchability, retention, and fishing behavior/selectivity.  The TWGs will meet via webinar between February 2021 and May 2022.     The assessment will be reviewed by the Caribbean Fishery Management Council’s SSC in Summer 2022 .  For more information, please contact the SEDAR Coordinator for this project, Julie A.
